1. Who we are
Curaquik Health is a home nursing marketplace based in Kampala, Uganda. We connect families with licensed nurses and help both sides manage visits online. If you have questions about this policy, write to support@curaquikhealth.com or use our contact form.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the service:
- Account details: name, phone number, PIN (stored as a hash), optional email, and location.
- Nurse details: specialization, license number, experience, bio, and verification documents you upload.
- Booking and visit records: nurse chosen, date, time, address, status, and visit notes.
- Messages you send to a nurse or client inside a booking, and messages sent through the public contact form.
- Reviews, complaints, and favourites.
- Technical logs such as session data needed to keep you signed in.
3. How we use it
We use this information to create your account, match clients with nurses, track visits, verify licenses, respond to support requests, and keep the platform safe. We do not sell personal information. We do not use your health-related notes for advertising.
4. Who can see it
- A client can see a nurse’s public profile and the details of their own bookings.
- A nurse can see the client name, location, and visit details for bookings assigned to them.
- Administrators can review accounts, licenses, bookings, complaints, and contact messages to operate the service.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account and booking records while your account is active and for as long as we need them for safety, complaints, or legal reasons. You can ask us to close an account by contacting support. Some records may be retained if a visit or complaint is still open.
6. Security
PINs are stored as one-way hashes. Reset codes expire after 30 minutes and can be used once. Access to admin tools is limited to staff accounts. No website is completely secure, so please keep your PIN private and use a device you trust.
7. Children
Parents or guardians may book child care for a child in their household. We do not create accounts for children under 18.
8. Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
